Petrisberg offers urban life and living in the middle of nature on an area of some 44 hectares.

Created on the site of the 2004 Landesgartenschau (County Garden Festival) has been a multi-functional municipal district with Trier's largest recreational area. Parallel thereto a science park has been established.
